El presente artículo consta de tres secciones. La primera trata sobre la prosecución, por parte de Benedicto XVI, de los temas tratados en la Fides et ratio. La segunda aborda un posible modo de obtener mayor colaboración entre la fe y la racionalidad en los saberes y profesiones. Por fin, se estudian los papeles de la filosofía y la teología y su relación mutua.

The present paper contains three sections. The first section deals with Pope Benedict XVI’s prosecution of the issues contained in the Encyclical letter Fides et ratio. The second section approaches a possible method to obtain more collaboration between faith and reason in knowledge and professions. Finally, the third section studies the roles of philosophy and theology, and their mutual relationship.
