En su proceso autotransformador, la persona tiene necesidad de un conocimiento superior de la vida, de su existencia, de sí mismo…, capaz de revelar su sentido por su relación con la verdad. Esto exige que la psicología antropológica evite el reduccionismo. La narrativa autobiográfica que presenta el artículo da testimonio de esta necesaria preocupación por la existencia, tanto más cuando se trata de recorrer el camino que lleva de las adicciones –dependencia-adicción-al sexo, incluida– a la libertad y la elevabilidad personal. La experiencia muestra que, para sanar sus heridas, las personas que han padecido la atracción por el mismo sexo (AMS) deben optar libre y firmemente por la natural reorientación personal de la sexualidad. Esta, por su participación intimísima con la libertad, lejos de ser un imposible-enfermizo, se convierte en un posible-muy fértil.

In its self-transforming process, the person needs a superior knowledge about life, about their existence, about the self..., capable of revealing its meaning by its relationship with the truth. This forces antro¬pological psychology to avoid reductionism. The autobiographical na¬rrative presented in this article provides testimony about this ne¬cessary preoccupation for existence, even more when it deals with the transformation from addiction-including dependency and addiction to sex- to freedom and personal uplifting. The experience shows that to heal their wounds, people who have suffered same-sex attraction must freely and firmly opt for a natural personal reorientation of their se¬xuality. This, because of its intimate participation with freedom, far from being a sick impossibility becomes a fertile possibility.
